Advertising - Demographics

Every new member at Bedford and Associates Research Group is asked to complete a demographic questionnaire.  Because this survey is not linked to members personal files in any way, the odds of embellishment are significantly reduced.  This unique and honest window into the "profile" of an average Bedford and Associates member reveals some startling facts.

  • Target the Most Affluent Addresses in the United States and Every Other Corner of the Globe
More than 62 percent answered that their country of origin was United States and Canada, followed by 16 percent from continental Europe (Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Monaco, Germany), 11 percent from the Middle East (Israel, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Egypt),  7 percent from the Far East (Japan, China, Singapore), 4 percent from South America and 1 percent from Australia.

  • Household Income Twice the Average
More than 80 percent of respondents told us that their household income was greater than $150,000.  More than 15 percent had household incomes above  $200,000.

  • Experienced Investors
Our survey revealed that 71 percent of respondents considered themselves to be  experienced and more than 43 percent made more than 10 trades per month.

  •  Self-Directed Investors
Investors comfortable making their own decisions are better consumers.  More than 81 percent of survey respondents suggested that they were comfortable making their own investment decisions.
